We believe in building up leaders and laborers who will make an eternal impact for Jesus Christ on our campus and around the world. Our hope is that through Journey, you will not only be extremely equipped and prepared to have a personal ministry at Texas State, but also in your future community and church.

Bottom line: We hope to develop people in their walk with God and to effectively equip them for a lifetime of ministry.  We meet every Thursday at 5-6:30p at the First Presbyterian Church starting on Sept 9 (and only lasts 9 weeks).  Oh!  And don't forget the home-cooked meals provided each week.  Come join us at the Cru family dinner table.  Click here for a map.

Journey has two tracks.  The first track last two semesters and we call it Cru 101 and Cru 102.  If you are new to Journey we ask for you to start in this track.  Once you have completed the first track we have the Leadership Track.  The Leadership Track digs into the word each week, tackles issues facing the ministry and gets on their knees to pray for Cru and the campus.

Hermeneutics- How to study the Bible. (2 weeks)
Theology- Who is God?
Pneumatology- Walking in the Spirit
Ecclesilogy- the church.
Missiology- God’s Heart for the World.

Ministry Equipping
Soteriology- study of the gospel

Communicating the gospel (2 weeks)

Telling your story
Missional Living
Foundations- helping new Christians grow.
Discipleship- investing your life in others.
